Sonnet

My favorite thing in the world is rain,
You know its coming when the thunder sounds,
Staying inside will make me go insane,
Now that it has starter my heaert will pound.

All over the ground the water splatters,
Boom Boom Boom! Yells the clouds when it thunders,
You know its begun when the birds chatter,
Children and babies begin to wonder.

I jump in the puddles to have some fun,
With every drop I hear the puddle pop,
And if we are lucky, we'll see the sun,
With all this fun I hope it doesn't stop!

I dance in the rain and start to shiver,
While my cat, inside, begins to quiver.
